Alex
Exceptional pianist who accompanies various professional singers and spontaneous ones as well. Come on a Friday or Saturday and stop by the Cént Anni piano bar.
Buena cocina
My favorite dessert in all of San Miguel is the sweet milk volcano with vanilla ice cream from Restaurant Bistro 300. One of the best kitchens in the city. A very good price-quality option.
Calle Cuna de Allende
This picturesque cobblestone street, only one block long, is one of the most walked by visitors. It features different restaurants such as Atrio, La Posadita, and Café Santos, which have a unique San Miguel atmosphere.
Cantina con rokola en el mero centro
Have a beer or mezcal at La Coronela. Request your favorite song on the jukebox and enjoy this classic cantina in San Miguel with its walls covered in photos of Mexican artists.
Catas Restaurant
Beautiful property with mature trees, vines, olive trees, and lavender. The restaurant is located in front of a beautiful lake. Ideal for a meal with friends or family or for a romantic dinner. It is 20 minutes from San Miguel on the road to Dolores Hidalgo.
Comida Italiana, piano bar y música
Don’t miss this place located on Canal Street. It has a terrace with views of the domes of the nuns’ church, a piano bar, and a stage for live bands. The food is very good and the atmosphere and music are unbeatable.
Conoce la historia de San Miguel
On Cuna de Allende street, next to the parish, you will find the Allende House Museum. Actors in period costumes bring the museum to life, showing, among other things, what life was like in the town of San Miguel el Grande during the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries.
La Cantina más antigua de San Miguel
Don’t miss the experience of sitting at the bar of the oldest cantina in San Miguel. I always order a mezcal or a tequila, an artichoke, and some baja shrimp tacos with beans. There are tostadas, tacos, salads, etc. All delicious.
La flaka
The very Flaka spent years at the VC, the “80s den” in San Miguel, and at the Ocre, now she is on Thursdays at Momma and on Saturdays at Cént Anni. Don’t miss her in her romantic version at the piano bar.
La Plaza Principal
The Civic Plaza is the most visited place in San Miguel. What I enjoy the most, when I sit on one of the benches to watch life go by, is witnessing how, as if by magic, the color of skin, place of origin, and religion lose importance.
Paseos en bici por el campo de SMA
If you like biking and the countryside, talk to Beto so he can take you on a tour. I love going to the Allende dam and enjoying the landscapes adorned with remnants of ancient chapels.
Pescados y Mariscos
Delicious restaurant. It’s perfect for eating on a Sunday. Verónica and Juan José cook deliciously and take care of you wonderfully. Seafood from all over the country. Cocktails, salads, fish, tostadas… The fish soup is a delight and it’s huge.
Show de flamenco y música en vivo
Enjoy delicious Spanish snacks and paella. Sally dances like a goddess and the singing twins play the guitar like the greats. Don’t miss it!
Viñedo Tres Raíces
It has something beautiful, a good restaurant, and the vintage gets really good. 20 minutes from San Miguel on the road to Dolores Hidalgo.
